EDF stands for, Earth's Defense Force. This project was started in order to make a game that recaptures the spirit of X-Com: Ufo Defense. Even after so many years, no game has quite captured the elements that make X-Com so great. We are a group of people from around the world who communicate primarily through the internet, and we contribute to the game in our spare time. We expect to make no money whatsoever on this project, and the game will be free when it is completed. If you would like to learn more, read the project FAQ, and head over to the message boards.
